Dog Training at the Resort
We are pleased to offer obedience training for dogs from 8 weeks old to senior citizens.
Group sessions and private lessons are offered April through mid December. Class schedules are published as events on the Heavenly Scent Pet Resort Facebook page as well as on the web site. During the 4-5 week courses (or 2 week compressed) you’ll be introduced to the basics of sit, down, leash walking, stay, come, off, watch and leave it as well as discussions regarding health issues, food selection, and grooming tips. Classes are taught by Trainer Carol Vaughn. My training style is Positive Reinforcement with gentle correction. Pay the class fee to be added to the class roster here.
Includes online convenience fee of 2.90%. Due at first class is proof of Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, Bordetella and Fecal exam. Bring soft, one-bite-size training treats (I sell my preferred brand) and a 6’ leash. No retractable leashes permitted. Cancellation after the first class forfeits the class fee.

Puppies 10 weeks up to 6-8 months (dependent on development, breed, prior training). Current on puppy vaccines, record due at first class. During the 4 sessions you’ll be introduced to the basics of puppy socialization, focus/watch, impulse control, luring, sit, leash walking, down, stay, come, off and leave it as well as discussions regarding health issues, food selection, and grooming tips.

Private Lessons- Your Schedule
Let us help you with training, tailored to your needs. Sessions available by appointment,
offered in 4 hour blocks, 1.0 hour per session. Owners are present and handling their dog.
Multiple family members welcome. Children under 14 are welcome after one session with
adults.
Cost: $240 due prior to the 1st lesson, nonrefundable after first class. Upon receipt we will
schedule your one hour lessons on days and times that work for you to be completed within a 6 week period.
Dogs must be current on Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, Bordetella and Fecal exam. Puppies current to vet recommendations. Please submit Vet records one week before first class.
